About Us
The Wildlife Outreach Foundation is a non-profit 501-C3 corporation based in Central Mississippi. Founded in July 2006, The Wildlife Outreach Foundation’s mission is to further the conservation of wildlife and habitat through education. WOF presents hands on opportunities for people of all ages to see and better understand the impacts of wildlife and habitat conservation on the world around us. WOF works closely with rehabilitators, zoos, schools and other educators to provide support for like-minded efforts. Preservation and management of our wild
environment is essential to the health of our world,
and we are reaching out because we can all make a
difference. The WOF offers educational programs
and volunteer opportunities to schools, groups, and
organizations that want to learn first hand why
wildlife and habitat conservation is critical to our
planet. WOF provides live animal ambassadors
with a presentation suited to the audience to teach why these and other creatures are so important to our world and how the loss of habitat is effecting us all.
The Wildlife Outreach Foundation has also started a project to build a regional rehabilitation facility for the southeast United States. This facility will provide vet and rehab services to injured wildlife and give anyone the opportunity to participate in the animals recovery process all the way through to release of the animal back to the wild. Please help us reach this goal by visiting or donations page.
